Sekhmet

Probably the "cutest" version of Sekhmet I've seen, but surely gorgeous and mighty in her own right.

One could chalk up her tamer appearance to the fact that she's becoming docile from the blood-red beer being consumed, as if beginning to turn into her other self, Hathor, as the myth portrays. Not to mention, her disease-ridden mantle works well to reveal her fierce nature; given the fact that she's also associated with medicine and healing as well as disease and war in ancient Egypt makes this depiction work well.

I know a lot about Sekhmet, I think; she's one of my all-time favorite pagan deities. <3
